There’s no distress, no noise; it’s a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Once our animals arrive, they enter a room where they’re given an electric shock that renders them unconscious. This means that, when their throat is cut (to bleed out) in accordance with the halal practice, they don’t feel any pain. In our opinion, it’s the most humane and most respectful end anyone could hope for as our animals pass into the afterlife.
